Scholarships

We offer scholarships to Greenwood ISD staff and graduating seniors.

Educator scholarships are offered to current GISD staff and teachers who are currently working toward certification or advanced degrees.

Student scholarships are offered in the Spring to graduating Greenwood ISD students.

Since our inception in 2022, we are honored to have been able to grant over $119,000 in scholarships.

Scholarship Application

Applications will be open until April 15, 2026 for 2026 graduates.

Apply here for the following scholarships:

- Greenwood Education Foundation Ranger of the Year and Top Ranger Scholarships $25,000 to be awarded across multiple scholarships

 - The Charley and Rachel Dunn Memorial Scholarship, a $1000 scholarship.

 - The Alvey and Virginia Bryant Memorial Scholarship, a $2250 scholarship to be awarded to someone going into the field of education.

 - The James Simpson Memorial Scholarship, a $1500 scholarship seeking to award someone who showed animals during high school or seeking an agriculture degree.

 - The Frontline Community Emergency Services Scholarship, a $1500 scholarship benefitting someone who will be seeking certification to go into emergency services (police or fire academy or EMT certification)
